Samba started as a side project to help one electrical hardware shop close its books. Today it runs the counters, ledgers and reports of more than a thousand Pakistani businesses.
Software should not gatekeep good business.
For years the only choices for a Pakistani business were an ancient desktop tool that still expected Windows XP, or a foreign SaaS that priced in dollars and had never heard of rupees, FBR or khaata.
We built Samba to close that gap: modern, web-based, priced for Pakistan, shaped around the workflows retailers here actually use — and uncompromising about the accounting underneath.

The first shop
Samba ran in one electrical hardware store in Lahore as a side project — invoicing and stock, nothing else.
Multi-tenant launch
Rewritten as a proper multi-tenant platform, with fifty pilot businesses across Lahore and Karachi.
Full accounting
Chart of accounts, journals and financial statements shipped. Five hundred businesses on board.
Where we are
1,200 businesses, 3,200 branches, 48 million invoices. Building toward the next ten thousand shops.

We are working on an Urdu-first interface, direct FBR integration and a light mobile app — so the system reaches businesses that never had a computer at the counter.
